The cat’s out of the bag – finally!
Can we all take a deep breath and give a collective sigh of delight? It’s finally out in the open – our artist’s lineup for 2026/2027! We are beyond excited to finally be sharing with everyone what we’ve carefully been curating since last fall and shared with former subscribers late in the spring. Our 49th season is on sale today, promising yet another a remarkable celebration of peerless artistry and pianistic passion.
Here’s the elevator pitch: Seven recitals by seven artists symbolically multiplying to represent 49 years of formidable music-making. Seven nationalities uniting around timeless music to honor the “international” in our name, and the “universal” in our spirit. Four men and three women, bringing globally inspired programs and dazzling virtuosity to our very own Lincoln Hall.
Can you believe these names, and that they’ll soon tread our airport carpet and our Broadway, before playing our Steinway?
GABRIELA MONTERO (Venezuelan), with wild and poignant music from Iberia
JAN LISIECKI (Canadian), who will have us all dancing, maybe even in the aisles
YING LI (Chinese American), a great teller of tales at the piano
INON BARNATAN (Israeli-American), returning to PPI with more of his finesse and vibrancy
BORIS GILTBURG (Israeli), bringing favorite works for a favorite audience
TIFFANY POON (American), with mystery and intrigue throughout her program
NIKOLA MEEUWSEN (Dutch), pulling us along on a trip of seemingly all the emotions
