What is a work of art that you think more people should know about and why?
Jan van Eyk ‘ ‘Het Lam’s God’ made a huge impression on me
when I visited Gent! I was very moved although I can’t describe
why.
How do you unwind after a performance?
Eating a great meal with friends!!
What is a place in the world that has changed the way you think about sound?
I often think of the landscapes I saw in Orkney, Scotland when
I’m practicing.
What is something you’ve learned to do in the last five years that has nothing to do with the piano?
I got very good at riding bikes very fast! During COVID when
there were no concerts my friends and I were cycling 500km
every week..!
