Renowned Pianist Marc-André Hamelin Returns to Portland Piano International for Two Solo Performances in Portland, October 15 & 17
PORTLAND, OR – Canadian pianist Marc-André Hamelin, known around the world for his unrivaled blend of consummate musicianship and brilliant technique, makes his long-awaited return to Portland for two performances presented by Portland Piano International (PPI) on October 15 and 17, 2023.
Mishka Rushdie Momen opens Portland Piano International's 2023 / 2024 main recital series with solo performances in Portland and Beaverton, September 24 & 26
PORTLAND, OR – British pianist Mishka Rushdie Momen, a rising star known for her refined and expressive playing, will make her Portland debut in recitals presented by Portland Piano International (PPI). She will open PPI's 2023 / 2024 Main Recital Series on September 24 at Portland State University's Lincoln Performance Hall, followed by a performance at the Patricia Reser Center for the Arts in Beaverton on September 26.

For the last 90+ years Portland Youth Philharmonic has held a biennial Piano Concerto Competition with the prize of performing with the PYP. As we did in 2019, Portland Piano International / SOLO will present the biennial Piano Concerto Competition on Friday evening, January 15, 2021, to select the soloists for upcoming Portland Youth Philharmonic performances.
