KURTÁG'S GHOSTS
This fascinating program is conceived as a dialogue between the present and the past, as a journey through the music of the centuries. It is a tribute to one of the greatest living composers, Gyorgy Kurtág, whose music is indeed full of explicit homages to, memories of, and echoes from those who came before him.
Works by Machaut, Scarlatti, Beethoven, Chopin, Schumann, Messiaen, Bartók, Mussorgsky, Ligeti, Kurtag — and more. Link to full program details
