All events will take place at the World Forestry Center’s Cheatham and Miller Halls. The World Forestry Center is located at 4033 SW Canyon Road, Portland, Oregon, adjacent to the Oregon Zoo. Call 503.228.1388 for wheelchair accessibility information.

Free parking is available in the Oregon Zoo and World Forestry Center lots for all activities in Miller and Cheatham Halls; however lots can become full by mid-afternoon.

Preferred access is by the westside MAX light rail, Washington Park Station. See www.trimet.org for more details.

LODGING

A limited number of rooms are available for Festival attendees at a special discounted rate at one of Portland's finest hotels: The Heathman Hotel, 1001 SW Broadway. Call Amanda at 503.790.7103 to make your reservation. Rates are $129-$149. In addition, a limited number of rooms are reserved at the Paramount Hotel, 808 SW Taylor. Call 503.223.9900 and ask for the Portland International Piano Festival rate of $139. Both hotels are in the heart of the arts district and close to the MAX train which can take you directly to the festival site at the World Forestry Center. Please make reservations early!

Receptions

Join us for receptions after the recitals and at the end of the Focus on Artistry and Young Pianists Institute sessions, where you can meet the artists and other Festival attendees. Also, new this year is an opening reception before the first PianoFest event on Thursday, July 17. Attend this reception to enter a drawing for a free copy of Paul Robert's new biography of Claude Debussy. All receptions are complimentary for all audience members.

Festival Lunch, July 19

Take a break from all the festival activities and relax with your fellow piano lovers while enjoying a delectable lunch from Mark Kline Catering. The menu includes a trio of scrumptious salads and fresh baked breads, topped off by our favorite Northwest dessert: berry cobbler. This event is not included in the cost of the Festival or Day Pass, and must be ordered separately by July 10.

Box Lunch & Dinners

For your convenience, box lunches and dinners prepared by some of the finest delicatessens in Portland are provided at cost as a service to Festival attendees. Feel free to bring your meal to Cheatham Hall and enjoy films while you eat. See registration form for details. Please note that there are no restaurants on the World Forestry Center grounds, but there are a few within walking or driving distance.
